Starting out on my own, working from a small white van, the focus was simple: deliver quality work, be reliable, and build something for my family. From those early days, the business steadily grew through hard work, word of mouth, and a commitment to high standards.

Flooring has always been part of our family. My dad is a floor layer, my grandad Sammy was a floor layer, and the generations before them were in the trade too. It’s a profession that’s been passed down, one we take real pride in, and one we hope will continue to be passed down through the next generation of Taylors.

Today, KT Flooring has grown into a strong, experienced team capable of delivering large commercial projects — but we’ve never lost the values we started with. We remain a family-run business, maintaining the same high standards and attention to detail we’ve had from day one.

With seven children in the family, we know the family tradition will continue.
